Behind Finebuffs

Finebuffs is not just a brand. It's a story of passion, determination, and the fusion of creativity with a love for sport.

Since childhood, I've loved creating – from drawing to handmade crafts – and at the same time, I was a passionate alpine ski racer. One day, I had the idea to create something that would add a touch of originality to my skiing outfit. That's how the idea of a handmade winter neck warmer was born – practical, stylish, and completely unique.

The beginnings were humble. I hand-sewed the first few pieces, but quickly realized that this method wasn't sustainable – the process was too time-consuming, and the quality wasn't always consistent. So, I invested in a sewing machine and started learning proper sewing techniques. Production became more efficient, and as my friends and people around me started asking for their own neck warmers, I knew something bigger was taking shape.

I decided to create an Instagram profile to share my products with a wider audience. A major turning point came when a friend asked me why I didn't have my own online store – and offered to help build it. Together, we brought Finebuffs to the next level. Not long after, another friend – also a ski racer – joined the team and took over our Instagram presence.

Today, Finebuffs is a four-member team: two seamstresses (myself and a close friend), a social media specialist, and a colleague who manages the e-shop. What started as a simple creative idea has grown into a project built on teamwork, shared passion, and love for what we do.
